EZ crowns are aesthetic, “white crowns”, loaded with innovative technology that helps them perform at a level that matches how well they look. Every EZ crown has deep internal retention grooves designed to create a longer lasting mechanical bond. These crowns are a healthy aesthetic alternative to silver (stainless steel) crowns for the posterior teeth, and a stronger alternative to plastic (composite resin) crowns for the front teeth.
EZ crowns are made of zirconia, a high-tech ceramic. With its fine-grain translucent crystal structure, zirconia produces aesthetics that rival one’s natural tooth. The material is bio-inert and resistant to decay and plaque accumulation.
Dr. Corns has been certified by Sprig and approved to place the EZ crowns. She attended a clinical education workshop, Sprig University, for special hands-on training to maximize her EZ crown technique.
